Fans warned over conduct for Three Lions clash
The Chronicle
|September 09, 2025
SERBIAN fans have been warned by the nation’s football association that “every inappropriate reaction, insult or incident” in tonight's match against England could damage their World Cup hopes.
-
Thomas Tuchel's men are in Belgrade for a key Group K match at the Rajko Mitic Stadium, where the capacity has been reduced by 15% due to previous fan behaviour.
FIFA punished the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) for, among other things, “discrimination and racist abuse” in June's match against Andorra and face further sanctions if there are issues against England.
The FSS has appealed to fans to “support our national team in the right way”, with general secretary Branko Radujko repeating those calls in tonight's matchday notes written in both Serbian and English.
