A NEW campaign is warning of the dangers of illegal drug use this Christmas.
Independent charity Crimestoppers is urging those in Northumberland and Tyne and Wear to be aware of the issue - and be mindful of the risks of spiking and how using illegal drugs can fuel organised crime.

EVERY new show needs a great opening. Something to forcefully grab the viewer's attention and maintain that vice-like grip for the next hour or so. The producers of Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing must have been rubbing their hands with glee when they saw the rough cut of this first episode: a glimpse of the countryside, a nice burst of birdsong, sounds of a man and a woman laughing and then... two people naked in a shower. Goodness me, and it's only just past the watershed too.
