NEWCASTLE United defender Dan Burn admits it hasn’t really sunk in that he is about to represent England at the World Cup.
But the 34-year-old is confident his first World Cup experience could end with an historic triumph as the Three Lions step up their preparations at a pre-tournament training camp in Miami, Florida.
Burn, alongside Newcastle teammate Tino Livramento, joined up with the England squad on Monday as they take in a 10-day preparation camp in the Sunshine State before moving to their tournament training base in Kansas City.
England have two friendly matches in Florida as they face New Zealand tomorrow at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa before taking on Costa Rica next Wednesday in Orlando.
