NATHAN Carlyon has reflected on an 'unforgettable' 14 years at Newcastle United after the academy graduate left his boyhood club.
-
Although Carlyon's contract was technically up last summer, Newcastle supported the former under-21 skipper throughout his rehabilitation after he suffered a serious knee injury.
Newcastle did likewise when Matty Longstaff tore his ACL and the Geordie previously told the Chronicle that 'was such a big thing when you're going through a big injury'.
