Overnight fire fight at forest

FIREFIGHTERS spent the night tackling a “large” blaze at Delamere Forest.
The fire broke out shortly after 3pm on Tuesday (May 6) with Cheshire Police closing surrounding roads.
Six fire engines - one each from Northwich, Winsford, Chester, Runcorn and Congleton along with a weekday fire engine - attended the blaze.
