One-way closure in town centre

A ONE-WAY closure on a busy main Ellesmere Port town centre road is now in place.
The road closure in place on Whitby Road in Ellesmere Port
Whitby Road, between the Enfield Road and Princes Road junctions heading towards the M53, will be shut for 13 weeks, including the footway.
It’s due to works taking place on new active travel routes to better connect Ellesmere Port railway station with the town centre as part of a major regeneration project. Whitby Road is now set to be closed until April.
Cheshire West and Chester Council states that working hours will be between 7am and 7pm with both weekday and weekend working.
