Ladies' Day race-goer delivers tearful TikTok message to the haters

CHESTER — Racecourse held its annual Powells Jewellery Ladies’ Day last Saturday.

- BY ZAHNA EKLUND

Hundreds of women turned up to the event dressed in full glam in the hopes of winning the best dressed competition while watching the racing, and despite the rainy weather, most attendees had a fantastic time.

One woman, however, has taken to TikTok to share her upsetting experiences of the day.

She said she was “humiliated” by several racing fans who had told her she looked “stupid” in the dress she was wearing.

The woman was seen crying during her emotional video as she explained that people had “pointed and laughed” at her on several different occasions throughout the day.

She said: “To all the people at Chester Races who have told me I look stupid, who have pointed and laughed at me. Not only who have pointed and laughed at me, but also to the girl and boy who came up to me and said I look stupid.”
