75 Billion Allocated to Solve Power Crisis in School
-
The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has unveiled a strategic plan to reposition Nigeria's universities as regional academic hubs, with a focus on attracting foreign students, expanding health education, and providing alternative energy across campuses.
Executive Secretary of TETFund, Sonny Echono, disclosed the plan in an interview on Friday, saying the goal is to restore Nigeria's global educational reputation similar to what existed in the 1960s.
"We want to attract foreign students again, especially from Africa, as was the case decades ago," Echono said. "To achieve this, we're investing in infrastructure, digital tools, and modern research."
