The Federal High Court in Abuja has transferred the N1.6 billion trademark infringement case filed by Rite Foods Limited, makers of Fearless Energy Drink, against Mamuda Beverages Nigeria Limited, producers of Pop Power Energy Drink, back to the Chief Judge for reassignment.

The matter, listed as number 19 on the court's cause list, was originally before Justice Emeka Nwite but could not proceed during the May 28 hearing. The court registrar clarified that the case—initially brought during the Easter vacation—was returned for reassignment in accordance with court procedures.
