Wipro offering shareholders a chance to sell at a premium price

On June 22, Wipro, an IT company based in Bengaluru, launched a significant buyback program worth Rs 12,000 crore. The buyback offer will remain open until June 29. Through the tender route, Wipro plans to repurchase approximately 26.97 crore shares at a price of Rs 445 per share, which represents a 15 percent premium over the closing price of Rs 386 on Wednesday.
