US Consul General at Hyderabad meets Odisha CM to deepen US-Odisha ties

The Consul General of the United States at Hyderabad, Jennifer Larson, on Wednesday, called on Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar to discuss ways to strengthen the partnership between the US and Odisha.

Majhi welcomed the Consul General and emphasised strengthening partnerships between the US and Odisha in various sectors such as industries, education, renewable energy, tourism, and culture.
Citing Odisha's advantages, such as trained manpower and availability of land, water, and energy, he sought the cooperation of the US Consul in facilitating larger participation of US industries in the upcoming Utkarsh Utkal Conclave (formerly Make-in Odisha), which will be held from 6-7 months from now.
