UP CM inaugurates 'Atal Yuva Maha Kumbh' on Vajpayee's birth anniversary

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, alongside Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, inaugurated the 'Atal Yuva Maha Kumbh' in Lucknow on Tuesday to commemorate the birth centenary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The event, part of a series of celebrations marking the 100th birth anniversary of the late leader, aimed to honor Vajpayee's enduring legacy and inspire youth across the nation.

During the program, meritorious students who excelled in various competitions were awarded certificates and prizes as a gesture of encouragement and recognition.

Chief Minister Adityanath praised the initiative, stating, "I thank people's representatives for elevating the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Shatabdi Mahotsav to new heights in Lucknow and across the country.

This Yuva Kumbh is a tribute to the Sanatan Dharma tradition of organizing Kumbh and has revitalized the memories associated with Atal Ji."

Adityanath emphasized that Kumbh reflects India's cultural identity and underscored the event's role in keeping Vajpayee's memory alive among the younger generation.
