Sankara eye foundation launches India's first eye care innovation lab

Sankara Eye Foundation, India has launched the nation's first-of-its-kind Innovation Lab supported by G.D. Naidu Charities, aiming to advance eye care through cutting-edge research, development, and training. This center focuses on delivering high-quality eye care solutions to underserved populations, reaching remote rural villages with innovative diagnostic, treatment, and prevention approaches.
The center's inauguration was graced by Shri. G.D. Gopal, Chairman of G.D. Naidu Charities, along with Dr. S.V. Balasubramaniam, Chairman of Sankara Eye Foundation, India, Dr. R. V. Ramani, Founder and Managing Trustee of Sankara Eye Foundation, India, Mr. Bhaskar Bhat, Director of Tata Sons Private Limited, and other trustees and well-wishers of Sankara Eye Foundation, India. Shri. G.D. Gopal expressed his excitement about the initiative, highlighting its uniqueness in India and its potential to bring numerous innovations to the international ophthalmology sector.
