Madhya Pradesh, once labelled a “bimaru” (sick) state, has undergone a remarkable transformation into a “bemisal” (extraordinary) one, according to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Speaking at a press conference, Sitharaman attributed this turnaround to the BJPled government’s effective governance and outlined the key factors behind the state’s development, encapsulated in the “5Gs.”
The minister highlighted that Madhya Pradesh’s progress was driven by Growth, Good Governance, Goodwill of the people, Guarantee of Prime Minister Modi, and Garib Kalyan (welfare of the poor). Sitharaman expressed confidence that the BJP would garner support from all sections of the population in the upcoming assembly elections.
