How a Teenager's Vision Is Transforming Workplaces and Uplifting Trans Lives

With a mission to create opportunities for marginalized communities—especially transgender individuals—TIFN is already making waves through its Inclusivity Charter, community partnerships, and real-world initiatives. From launching a meal drive during the COVID-19 lockdown to facilitating skilling programs and leading corporate dialogues on inclusion, this changemaker shares the inspiration, impact, and future of a movement rooted in compassion and intentional action.

1. You founded TIFN to create equitable opportunities for marginalized communities, especially transgender individuals. What personal experiences led you to build this organization at just 15?

There wasn't just one moment that sparked the idea for TIFN. It was a mix of things I saw and heard growing up, especially during visits to shelters and community spaces with my mom, who is a part of The Angels Network. I started helping out when I was four, and over time, I led some of my own initiatives. One conversation that really stayed with me was with Ms. Rudrani Chhetri from MITR Trust. She shared how hard it is for transgender individuals to find jobs or just be accepted in society. That conversation became the heartbeat of TIFN. I even had a blog as a kid called The Boy Who Will Change the World. I think those experiences slowly came together and pushed me to build something that could actually make a difference.

2. TIFN's Inclusivity Charter has gained momentum among progressive companies. What inspired this framework, and how does it help bridge the gap between intention and real-world inclusion?
