GOOGLE TO PRODUCE PIXEL PHONES IN INDIA BY 2024

Alphabet Inc. declared on Thursday at “Google for India 2023,” the ninth iteration of its yearly event dedicated to India, that it will produce Pixel smartphones in India. At the presentation, Rick Osterloh, senior vice president of devices and services at Google, stated that the devices—beginning with the Pixel 8—should start to roll out in markets in 2014.”Just announced at #GoogleForIndia: Rick Osterloh @rosterloh spoke about our plan to manufacture Pixel smartphones in India aiming to start with the Pixel 8 and anticipating these devices to start to roll out in 2024, joining India’s “Make in India” drive.”India is a priority market for Pixel smartphones and we are committed to bringing the best Google’s hardware and software experiences to the country,” Osterloh said.
