First one to raise Waqf Bill issue in state: Telangana CM

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, while attending Dawat-E-Iftar in Kodangal claimed that he was the "first one to raise the Waqf Bill issue," in the state even before AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi raised it.
"I am the first one to raise the Waqf Bill issue, even before AIMIM leader Owaisi. The Congress party has been providing plenty of opportunities to the Muslim community for a long time," CM Reddy said during the Iftar on Saturday.
He further highlighted how the funds have been sanctioned for the development of Muslim community in the Kodangal constituency.
