Allahabad High Court Refused Relief To YouTuber Mridul Madhok Accused Of Body Shaming, Defaming Fitness Influencer Kopal Agarwal

The Allahabad High Court in the case Mridul Madhok vs. State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Home Govt. Lko And 2 Others observed and has rejected a writ petition filed by YouTuber and Instagram influencer Mridul Madhok, wherein seeking to quash an FIR lodged against him over allegations of body shaming, defaming and making false claims regarding fitness influencer Kopal Agarwal.

The court in the case observed that a cognizable offence was found to have been committed by Madhok after perusing the impugned FIR.
The bench comprising of Justice Sangeeta Chandra and Justice Om Prakash Shukla was hearing the present matter.
The bench in the case clarified that if Madhok and Agarwal enter into a compromise, he may appear before the Investigating Officer along with the compromise, if any, occurring between the parties and the Investigating Officer may take appropriate decisions thereon.
