'Act swiftly, assist pilgrims stranded in Himachal'

The BJP legislator from the Bharmour Assembly constituency in Himachal Pradesh, Janak Raj, has urgently called on the authorities to take serious steps to aid the thousands of pilgrims stranded on the Manimahesh Pilgrimage trek.

The trek, which reaches an altitude of over 18,500 feet above sea level, has become a significant challenge for over 20,000 devotees who are suffering due to the poor condition of the path and the lack of adequate support from the government.
Janak Raj has demanded immediate action to improve the conditions on the pilgrimage route, stressing that the current situation is a "complete failure on the part of the government."
