AAP flags voter fraud concerns with EC

Aam Aadmi Party delegation led by party supremo Arvind Kejriwal and including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Delhi CM Atishi, and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, on Thursday met the Election Commission over their 'concerns' regarding alleged irregularities in the New Delhi Legislative Assembly elections.

The party highlighted a significant surge in voter registrations and deletions on the seat while alleging a "voter fraud" taking place at a large scale.

The delegation raised issues such as mass voter deletions, suspicious additions to the voter list, violations of the Model Code of Conduct by BJP candidate Parvesh Verma, and alleged collusion by local election officials.

The AAP leaders demanded swift action against the District Election Officer (DEO) and Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) for their role in enabling these violations and urged the Election Commission to ensure a transparent and fair election process.
