VP Sara ready to answer charges in 'proper forum'

Following the Supreme Court’s dismissal of the impeachment case against her, Vice President Sara Duterte reaffirmed her readiness to respond to accusations provided they are raised through appropriate legal channels, and not through what she described as “moro-moro” hearing in the House of Representatives.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Kadayawan Festival in Davao City, Duterte said her camp had complied with all the requirements set by the Supreme Court, which she referred to as the “proper forum and right venue.”

“Kung may kaso, sa tamang forum, mag-explain kami. Nagsabi kami noong nag-file sila ng articles of impeachment nila na ready ang defense team para sumagot sa accusations ng prosecutors ng House of Representatives,” she said.
