Many have been wondering about Maymay Entrata’s seemingly all-too inconsistent showbiz forays of late.

She is hardly seen on TV, never mind the big screen. And, if ever, her appearances are brief. Why?

We caught up with the 27-year-old singer-actress-model recently and here's what she told us.

“May malaking reason po ako kung bakit,” she began. “May pinagdadaanan po kasi ang aming pamilya.”

Maymay would go on to reveal that her mom and grandmother (who both raised her) are both dealing with medical conditions.
