Jeffren Lumbo fired a two-under 70 under steady drizzle and took a 2-shot lead over Ryan Monsalve halfway through the ICTSI South Pacific Golf Classic here on Wednesday.

Despite these miscues, he carded a 35-35 round highlighted by four birdies, including an impressive run of three birdies over four holes from No. 10 to stay ahead of the packed at seven-under 137.
