LTO suspends licenses of 11 drivers for overcharging passengers at NAIA

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has suspended the licenses of 11 taxi and Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) drivers for allegedly overcharging passengers for a short trip between two terminals of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
LTO chief, Assistant Secretary Vigor D. Mendoza Il said the licenses of the 11 taxi and TNVS drivers have been suspended for 90 days, pending the result of the ongoing investigation by the agency.
“We already suspended a lot of erring taxi and TNVS drivers in the past weeks. Akala yata ng mga ito ay ningas cogon lang ang ginagawa natin, nagkakamali sila at itong 11 na drivers na ito ay patunay na tuloy tuloy ito,” said Mendoza.
