2 gas station owners charged for alleged profiteering

The Philippine National Police (PNP) filed criminal charges against owners of two gasoline stations in Nueva Vizcaya and Eastern Samar for alleged profiteering amid the escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Both the PNP and the Department of Energy have warned of legal consequences for hoarding and price manipulation and the message appeared to have not reached the gas station owners.
