Bayside Mall hosts crime awareness drive

Table View police and the Community Intervention Centre (CIC) visited Bayside Mall on Friday, May 30, to raise awareness about various crimes affecting the community, with a strong emphasis on gender-based violence and femicide.
Captain Adriana Chandler of Table View police said that further information on extortion, substance abuse, robberies, human trafficking, and other topics was shared with visitors at the mall.
“Child Protection Week was also taken into consideration, and information on children’s rights, bullying, drugs, and child safety was provided to parents,” she said.
