16-Year-Old Victim Found Ten Weeks Pregnant
In a deeply distressing incident that underscores the growing dangers of social media grooming, the Sahakarnagar police have booked a 23-year-old man for the alleged sexual assault of a minor girl. The case, which has sent shockwaves through the local community, came to light after the 16-year-old victim was found to be ten weeks pregnant during a medical examination.
The authorities have officially registered a case against the accused under the stringent provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The accused has been identified as Prathamesh Dnyaneshwar Raut, a resident of Balaji Heights, located opposite the Ganesh Milk Dairy in the Dhankawadi area of Pune.
