Park opens teen parkour track as part of revamp
Surrey Mirror
|April 24, 2025
AN unusual attraction at a renovated park in Surrey is designed to challenge its visitors.
A new parkour course at Merstham Rec is nearly ready to open, complete with obstacles for running, jumping, and climbing.
The park is undergoing a massive revamp, with a new pavilion, play area and outdoor gym. When opened, the area will be transformed with lots to do for children, both big and small.
The new parkour course, which has been decorated in vibrant colours and is aimed at over-12s, is a first for the borough. Like the rest of the park, it is scheduled to open soon, so adventurers don’t have long to wait.
