Compare the cost and number of potential plants in a packet of flower seeds with that of a single plug plant and you have a dilemma.

Surely the former is a much better proposition? However, when we factor in the equipment and environment required to facilitate sowing and germination, also the commitment of time and skill to see seedlings through various development processes over several weeks toward maturity, buying a few plug plants makes sense. A balance of both works for me!
