Santas, elves and reindeer can help raise cash for charities

If you fancy dressing as an elf, wearing your Santa hat, or donning your Christmas jumper and going for a run to raise money for three charities, then why not sign up for the Seaham Santa Run.

Organised by Tempest Running Club, the 5km fun run encompasses a circular route from the Tommy statue to Noses Point, before looping back for a big festive finish.
There will also be complimentary refreshments and Christmas tunes from Disco Events North East.
The Navy Club will also be open for post-run celebrations.
