Payne looking forward to Star test with no pressure

In a strange coincidence, both sides go into the game on the back of wins against Newcastle Benfield after the Marras came from two goals down to claim a 4-2 victory at the MKM Stadium last weekend.

Blue Star followed that up by inflicted a 2-1 defeat on Benfield thanks to a goal in each half from striker Dan Wilson and that lifted Marc Nash's men into mid-table after an injury-plagued first two months of the season.

Payne revealed he tipped the visitors to push for the Division One title this season and stressed they will be the ones under pressure at Welfare Park on Friday night.

He said: "I don't know what to expect from Blue Star to be honest.
