"Lets get carried away" - the rousing words of SAFC superfan 'Big Davey' Atkinson, who sadly passed away in September due to a brain tumour, but which will now be immortalised with a range of merchandise to raise money for good causes.
'Big Davey' had become known and loved by football fans across the Tyne and Wear divide for his regular calls to BBC Radio Newcastle's Total Sport and gained fame for his booming voice and catchphrase 'let's get carried away.
Davey sadly passed away at the age of 64 on September 14, five months after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
