First shared ownership residents move into homes

The first shared ownership residents have started to move into a new housing development of more than 100 homes in Sunderland.

Cricketers Hill has been created by Gentoo, working in partnership with housing regeneration specialist RE:GEN Group, on a former school site in Carley Hill. The £24.8 million development, consisting of 115 homes including two, three and four-bedroom houses, two-bedroom bungalows and two-bedroom apartments, is fast progressing with residents moving into the first phase.
