Makhadzi back in Royal Heritage Festival line-up

Songbird, organisers put differences aside

Award-winning songbird Makhadzi and the organisers of the Phalaphala FM Royal Heritage Festival have smoked a peace pipe, as she has been included in this year's lineup of artists set to perform at the event.

As usual, the event will be held at Nandoni Dam in Venda on Saturday, September 13.

Makhadzi is among the star-studded and blockbuster lineup of over 40 artists scheduled to strut their stuff at the annual carnival.

Makhadzi's inclusion marks a highly anticipated comeback following a dramatic fallout with the organisers over the exorbitant amount she demanded last year. Her absence from the festival dominated headlines.
