Muir is confident ahead of Portimao

WORLD Superbike team boss Shaun Muir believes his team is ready to hit the ground running as the series heads to European shores next weekend.

Guisborough’s Muir, Team Principal of the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK squad, is confident of a much stronger outing when the second round of the season gets underway at Portimao next Friday.

It follows a successful test at the Portuguese track last week where his rider, reigning champion Toprak Razgatlioglu topped the timesheets throughout and Dutch team-mate Michael van der Mark ended the second day fourth fastest.
