More interest in Brazil star and eyes on Tonali

United have not returned to the table to discuss a possible move for future Brazil star Rayan.The Vasco da Gama star has a £69million clause in his contract, but the Brazil Serie A side is believed to be willing to drop their demands to £43.5million in the January window.

That has alerted AFC Bournemouth to the scene, with the Cherries having money to spend and needing a replacement for Antoine Semenyo, who signed for Man City last week.

The Magpies have played down recent links with centre-forward Rayan, although I understand, at the start of the window, Newcastle made an enquiry on Rayan’s high price tag.
