NATHAN Haslam believes the togetherness within his Guisborough Town squad can help the Priorymen secure ahistoric promotion this season.

After spells in the Northern Premier League with Whitby Town and Blyth Spartans, Haslam is hoping to guide his current club into step four of the non-league pyramid for the first time in their 52-year history.

‘The early signs have been promising after the ambitious summer signings of the likes of Elliott Beddow, Kurtis Howes and Alfie Doherty have all impressed during what has been a rewarding opening four months of the season.

‘After of yesterday's short trip to Teesside rivals Boro Rangers, Haslam’s men are sitting nine points clear at the top of the Northern League Division One table - and the Priorymen boss is keen to make the most of the strong team spirit within his dressing room to guide the club to success as quickly as possible.
