Fans boo as lack-lustre England limp to win
THOMAS TUCHEL admitted that England's fans were right to jeer after Harry Kane's second-half strike prevented a World Cup humiliation.
The Three Lions were booed off at half-time and then again at the end as more than 6,000 travelling supporters made it clear that the performance against Andorra, a nation sitting 173rd in the FIFA rankings, was unacceptable.
Boss Tuchel insisted he did not hear some abusive chants aimed at Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer during the game. But he said: "Booing is okay. The support was amazing and they created a great atmosphere for this kind of match.
"But the fans were underwhelmed and they are right to be unhappy. I can't blame them for that.
