A protest too Farage

Is Reform the path to bliss? Just see the mess in the US

It's not hard to understand why people are turning to Reform.

If you look around your local area and you see that a once-thriving high street is now a row of boarded-up shops, that the roads are pockmarked with potholes and the only work available is low-paid and part-time, then you are likely to have a cynical view of politicians.

Whether Conservative or Labour, they have come to power promising to make people's lives better, restore pride to local areas (Levelling Up anyone?) and bring back a sense of community spirit.

And, whether Conservative or Labour, the perception is that nothing changes.

And so voters are flirting with Reform. They know it's not the most disciplined of parties, that some candidates may be wrong 'uns and Nigel Farage is a chancer.

But they also sense Reform may offer something different - that, ultimately, they can't be any worse.
