A VILLA fan who has supported the team for more than 50 years will no longer travel to away games after he was caught up in ugly scenes at Wembley.
Colin Abbott has devoted his life to the club since 1972 and has written several books on its history and former players.
But the disabled 61-year-old has decided not to attend matches away from Villa Park after saying he witnessed violence and endured abuse himself at the FA cup semi-final.
Colin said another fan was headbutted while he was sworn at and intimidated after a man in the row in front refused to sit down during the match.
He said he alerted the authorities inside the stadium. But he said the culprit should be banned from Villa Park.
Police confirmed an arrest was made.
