Starmer promises to help families with cost of living

KEIR Starmer claimed there can be no letup in the fight to help families with the cost of living.The Prime Minister will tell voters 2026 is the year they will feel real change from action taken by the government.
His pledge comes as Chancellor Rachel Reeves declared Labour defied the forecasts of gloom in 2025.
In the first Cabinet meeting of the year on Tuesday, Starmer will tell ministers they must keep going further to tackle the cost of living.
