Brothers bag double as Ethan counts cost

ETHAN ROSS aced the gauntlet thrown down for the sake of family silver even if the hole in one wallet didn't belong to his brother.

But the Falkirk attacker is adamant he won't shy away from another slice of family competition this season despite being up against top-flight defences Older sibling Seb delivered the League Two crown with Peterhead six days before Ethan scored twice on the final night to clinch Bairns Championship success.

Ethan's feet didn't touch the ground in the aftermath of achieving promotion as he was carried from one side of the pitch to the other.

The fact his double agains Hamilton Accies took him to 13 goals and assists combined for the season, compared to his brother's 12, made it even sweeter.

The pair, who grew up in the Aberdeen youth system are each other's biggest fans but that doesn't prevent thei annual head-to-head.

Ethan, 23, said: "I won the competition. His forfeit was meant to be to pay for my golf holiday in Portugal bu he never ended up coming so I'll have to hold that over.
