THAT'S the thing about defying expectations... once you do, folk start to expect.

So much so, they fly in from western USA in the hope of seeing a rerun of one of the biggest Scottish Cup shocks.

Tomorrow marks a year to the day Queen's Park and Rangers met at the same stage of the same competition on the same pitch.

Only this time, Spiders keeper Calum Ferrie - the undoubted hero of the original after saving James Tavernier's stoppage-time spot-kick - will see an extra face in the crowd.

The 27-year-old said: “My brother Gregor lives in Utah and is flying over for the game because he was very angry at himself he didn't last time.

“He's said that if I don't do the same again I am going to have to pay for his flights!

“We'll see how that one goes. He works at a school as a football coach. He is five years older and was always better at football than me.
