BARRY FERGUSON slammed his Rangers players for allowing "bad old habits" to creep back in before they snatched all three points in a seven-goal thriller with Dundee.

BARRY'S GOT IT BAD

The caretaker boss breathed a sigh of relief after a remarkable 15-minute salvage job saw them leave Dens with a victory having trailed 3-1 after 75 minutes.

Ferguson insists they would have lost the game five weeks ago as he hailed his side's character.

But he told his players he wouldn't stand for the sloppiness that allowed Tony Docherty's side to romp ahead.

Rangers were second best for the first half and lost the battle with the pumped-up Dark Blues while Jack Butland suffered another calamity at Dundee's second goal.

But Cyriel Dessers' 93rd-minute winner completed an astonishing comeback and it's now four wins from six games as caretaker for Ferguson.

Incredibly Gers have gone 2-0 down in five of their last seven games.

And the interim boss said: "It's a brilliant three points but overall, certainly the first half, we were miles off it. You can see in my face it's frustration, I saw many old, bad habits.
