Adil Aouchiche's first-half double looked to have the Dons cruising against Dundee but they needed Kevin Nisbet's stunning added-time strike to secure the win after Ryan Astley pulled one back.

Thelin's Dons now face Racing Strasbourg in the Conference League on Thursday and the Swedish boss urged his players to dump the French cracks and keep their faint hopes of qualifying alive.

Thelin said: "It will be a different kind of game as they are a strong team who are really fast and dynamic.

"We need to take the challenge, focus on what we do, believe in what we need to do and do it really well.

"When we were not winning we had to focus on the things we could improve ourselves. Now when we have gone unbeaten for a number of games we still have to work on that.

"But you can see the team is growing. The rhythm is better, they trust each other better. They can grow with that."
