The poetry collection “Jeevithya Nawathila” and the essay compilation “Heta Deegayana Diyaniyata”, authored by provincial correspondent Chandrasiri Gunasekara, were officially launched at a ceremony held at the Royal Rose Hotel, Elpitiya.

In a touching moment, the first copy of the book was presented to Malkanthi Seneviratne, wife of a retired teacher and a lifelong companion described as “the shadow of his life.” The event was attended by a diverse and distinguished group of religious leaders, professionals, and local community members.
