FM Herath informs Indonesian envoy of hopes to finalize trade pact soon

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism, Wijitha Herath has informed Indonesian Ambassador Dewi Gustina Tobing that the Sri Lankan government expects to finalize the proposed Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) with Indonesia soon, which is currently under discussion between the two countries.

This was communicated during a meeting between the Minister and the Indonesian Ambassador last week.
Expressing his appreciation for the long-standing friendly relations between Sri Lanka and Indonesia, Minister Herath emphasized that the government would take further steps to strengthen these bilateral ties.
