Teddy Bear Lady sad for little darnings with no special toy

THE Repair Shop's Julie Tatchell has lamented the fact that children no longer keep treasured toys.
Julie, one of the show's Teddy Bear Ladies with friend Amanda Middleditch, says youngsters are so overloaded with stuffed animals and dolls that none ends up being special or precious.
In addition to appearing on the BBC1 show, restorers Julie and Amanda have written books for youngsters, have a podcast, Bearly Begun, and started their own teddy repair shop, Bear In Mind, in the New Forest in 2006.
