STRACHAN'S SURE SAFETY POSSIBLE WITH DAN AT HELM

LEEDS legend Gordon Strachan is backing his former club to beat the drop - because Daniel Farke still has the players on his side.

United boss Farke had been under increasing pressure after five defeats in a row saw them drop into the relegation zone.

But a spirited 3-3 draw against Liverpool last weekend gave Strachan evidence to suggest the dressing room is firmly behind their boss ahead of a trip to Brentford.

Strachan, who spent six years at Elland Road as a player, said: "When you see a manager under pressure, or a team that is struggling, you usually see players who are disheartened, lacking confidence, or having trouble putting effort in.
