PAUL PARKER has urged Manchester United to reject any transfer target who will only move to Old Trafford if Ruben Amorim's men qualify for the Champions League.
United are just one step away from a return to Europe's elite after booking a Europa League final date with Tottenham in Bilbao on May 21.
It could be an occasion that makes or breaks manager Amorim's plans to rebuild the squad he inherited in November, with Champions League cash giving him greater freedom in the market and the kudos of joining big guns like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain making them a much bigger attraction for star names.
But Red Devils legend Parker (left) believes players will be signing for the wrong reasons if their decision hinges on the one-off clash with Spurs.
